Faith Leader Sign-On Letter

More and more faith leaders are raising their voices for reproductive freedom. Be part of this movement by signing our Ohio Clergy for Choice Letter — or by asking your rabbi, imam, pastor, high priestess, or spiritual leader to sign on.

We will deliver your signatures to your elected leaders and feature them in the media. Together, we can demonstrate the strength and diversity of our “Pro-Faith, Pro-Family, Pro-Choice” movement.

Faith Leaders: Sign on by April 5th

Called to Compassion – March 17th

Marian SB23.jpg

Come hear why Rev. Dr. Marian Stewart, the Senior Minister of First Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbus, put her faith into action by testifying against the six-week abortion ban (Senate Bill 23).

Rev. Dr. Stewart will preach and share her testimony at both the 9:15am and 11:00am services at First UU. After each service, connect with Ohio RCRC to learn how people of faith can provide practical, compassionate support to those seeking abortion care.

Advocacy Day – April 10th

Join us for the annual Freedom of Choice Ohio Advocacy Day! This year, we will focus on sharing our stories to help policymakers understand how their misguided attacks on reproductive health care hurts Ohioans and their families.

All are welcome! Training will be held at the Holiday Inn – Downtown Columbus on April 10th, followed by advocacy visits at the Statehouse.

Register here for $15. (If you need a reduced rate or scholarship to attend Advocacy Day, do not hesitate to contact us at info@ohiorcrc.org)

Press Spotlight: Wooster Rally

Last week, we organized a rally in Wooster to demonstrate local opposition to the six-week abortion ban, a harmful bill that Sen. Kristina Roegner has relentlessly introduced and championed this year.

The main newspaper for a major portion of Sen. Roegner's district covered our event. With the support of NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio, Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio, and Unitarian Universalist Justice Ohio, we boldly declared to Sen. Roegner that Ohioans deserve better!
